A few years ago, when I gave this page the title "Astral Carnival", I was starting to draw the conclusion that some of the "ghosts" encounted by paranormal investigators aren't what they pretend to be, particularly in the case of EVP voices.
I've heard Art Bell and George Noory wonder why so many of these "ghost voices" sound as if they are little children. I've recorded such voices and alsowondered that. There's something both tragic and chilling about the possiblity that the spirits of deceased kids are somehow trapped here. Assuming there is a God, what sort of supreme being would allow the spirits of innocent children to be trapped here?
If there is no God, or God is less caring and humane than most people, perhaps that would be possible. But if there is even one human being who is selfless, loving and truthful, then how can our creator be any less than the best of us?
It's clear, and verified with the work of Dr. David R. Hawkins, that these aren't the voices of little children at all. They are deceptive spirits from the Astral Carnival bent misleading us, as they have done throughout history.
"Why,"you may ask, "would they do this?" You might as well ask why does the cat stalk the mouse.
The answer is simple. It both feeds and entertains them. They live to draw down our light and fill us with their darkness. Even the lowest among us is a source of brilliant spiritual light compared to the denizens of the Astral Realm. They hunger for the light we bear and feed on it as a leech drinks blood. And like leeches, they can attach themselves and feed without our noticing. All it takes is a wade in the Astral swamp.
I've been an explorer of the unexplained for most of my sixty-plus years and I've encountered both mild and menacing entities there. Normally they are no more bother than a fly, but if we choose to enter their realm, the risk is far greater. Those who dabble, thinking it's all not more than an amusing pass time, place themselves in the greatest danger.
Paranormal researchers please know what you are really dealing with. These Masters of Deception are more skilled than any propagandist, ad man, or politician. Human spinners of half-truths are minor league deceivers compared to those in the astral realm. Ask yourself why most ghost hunting groups dissolve in discord. Petty discord is mother's milk to astral beings playing with ghost hunters. I've seen the same in UFO and Channeling groups, too.
Like the fascinating, but darkly dangerous carnie shows that used to tour America by the dozens, we should approach The Astral Carnival with caution, if at all.
Of course, this doesn't apply to all spirits, just those of the lower Astral. The problem is the astral tricksters will always pretend to be something as cute as Casper, friendly as ET, or wise as an Arch Angel -- at least until they have their "fangs" in you.
Remember "Captain Howdy" from The Exorcist? What a charming character he was ... at first.
Paranormal investigation is no place for children of any age.

DOWSING AND APPLIED KINESIOLOGY
In the early seventies, I studied kinesiology with Dr. Clark Odden of Ogden, Utah. It was apparent then that dowsing and applied or behavioral kinesiology must tap into the same universal source.
I'm a student of the work of Dr. David R. Hawkins, director of The Institute for Advanced Theoretical Research. His book POWER vs. FORCE both validates the scientific basis of dowsing and details exactly how we can contact the communal consciousness to determine the answer to any "yes or no" question. His website is http://veritaspub.com. Although his work is primarily focused on the positive side of spiritual evolution, all his books offer insight into the negative entities of the astral.
His work is a milestone in proving the validity of access to truth available to those with genuine integrity. Its simple and direct approach goes far to show that real dowsers don't need expensive gimmicks and techno-rods to dowse. The human mind/body is the perfect dowsing tool -- no doodads required.

DOWSING is one such tool. My ancestors practiced this art for centuries. After my great-grandfather was disabled by the wounds he suffered during the Civil War, he used the dowsing skills his father taught him to make a living in pioneer Iowa.
